Chickadee Chocolate makes its gourmet dark chocolate in small batches with 2 simple delicious ingredients.
The cacao beans are purchased through Osito Coffee, a company formed by coffee farmers in Huila, Columbia. They expanded recently to include parts of their cacao crop. Columbia is not part of most cacao imports, but they offer a high quality bean that’s purchased directly from the farmers- and it has an excellent and distinct flavor.
The sugar is sourced from Itaja Organic in Brazil. Its produced from sugar cane, and the sugar is certified organic, not just for the US but also to meet EU and Asian organic standards.
